Do I need previous fishing experience?
You do not need previous fishing experience to book an excursion with our lodge guides. They will teach you everything that you need to know to get hooked!
Do I need to bring any fishing rods, bait, waders or tackle?
Our fishing guides will provide you with all of the gear that you need for fishing whether you are fly fishing, spin fishing, float fishing or bait fishing.
Which fish will I be able to catch?
The Fraser River is known for its abundant fish population, offering a variety of species for anglers to catch. Depending on the season and location, you will be able to catch salmon,sturgeon, and trout. The river is particularly famous for its monster sturgeon that attract fishermen from around the world.
What should I wear?
In the warm summer months, we recommend wearing shorts and sandals as waders are too warm for these months. In the cooler Spring & Autumn months, we recommend wearing layers. You can check the weather forecast here and don’t forget your sunscreen and hat.
